This post was intended to be all about the wonders of Nepali food. What it turned into was a recap of everything I ate for a week. So instead of getting into the intricacies of cooking in a country where having your tanker truck full of black market cooking gas stopped by the police until a big enough bribe could be reached is a weekly concern, I’m going to ease you into it. This is a video of every meal I ate this week. They were all delicious. Stay tuned for videos on how Nepali people cook such staples as dhal bhaat (rice and lentils) and momos (dumplings), as well as videos on how the fuel crisis in Nepal affects my ability to cook everyday. In the meantime, enjoy looking at photos of mouth-watering dishes. And try not to drool.
